  1. It seems a bit expensive for something to lock a cupboard. What are you trying to protect in a cupboard.

  2. Many classrooms, medical centers and offices are frequented by high numbers of individuals, requiring restricted access control to cupboards protecting drugs, documents and other sensitive items. Securing a cupboard can be just as, if not more important than securing an external door.
Internal security like access and key control is as fundamentally important to a business as is securing the perimeters. Often a fling cabinet is not as secure or as easily able to be secured as a cupboard.

  3. Yeah, a medical cupboard would be the only practical use for this. I usually have seen medical centers come with drawers with locks built in though.

  4. Are those locks electrical? Are there any new locks that electrical?

  5. These locks are strictly mechanical. They are designed to secure any style of cabinet, with a swing door.

There are electrical cam locks but not by this manufacturer.
