The Today Show on MSNBC

Locksmiths finally hit prime time, but it is a national warning to all consumers about the growing problem of illegitimate scammers continuing to prey on unsuspecting consumers. We have warned people before about the practises of some who choose to defraud the marketplace with less than ethical business practises. Now NBC highlights the problem with an indepth expose. This problem cannot be resolved through regulation and licensing unless enforcement is seen to bite. Not all locksmiths are like that, obviously. A professional locksmith will know how to perform the desired task at legitimate prices, offer insurance, usually arrive in a professional work truck and in uniform. The practises of some less than desirable "foreign" scam artists are bringing the entire industry to disrepute. This problem is being seen and repeated across the country in increasing numbers.
