WeMo - Home Automation Just Got Smarter

WeMo is a new product just released by Belkin, designed to make home automation more accessible to the masses.
With the quantity of devices in use in our homes today, many users would enjoy the convenience of 24/7 access to their appliances.

Why do I post this here? Many security products today are electrically powered and often users forget to set them or switch them on.  I believe that lighting is an integral part of your homes security and therefore should be included in modern intelligent security systems. Controlling your appliances remotely can only serve to enhance your home security as well as making your life easier.
