The above pictured Door Catcher  is such a product. Designed to be a stylish hold open feature that grabs the door from the bottom and holds it conveniently open.

The door must have at least a half inch gap at the bottom for this to work properly. No raised frame is required for suitable operation.

Simply push the door onto the catch once for the catch to grab. Push the door twice for the catch to release.
