Our very popular Cowdroy P697 Keyed Pocket Door Lock has been selling like hotcakes. We recently revealed our discovery of 3 more units hidden in our inventory. We are down to 2 units left now.

Due to significant demand and various customers contacting the manufacturer we have negotiated a new deal and expect to recontinue this product offering in the very near future.

The hinges were not fitting properly and the door frame had shifted, probably due to the age of the house.The screwswould not go far enough into the wall without hitting stone...even using a special drill bit. Dan worked a long time drilling and sanding to shore up the door as best as possible. I know it will never be perfect. He could have easily sold me a new door and the same issue would happen. I bought the Cowdroy P697 from Danny. I received it last Wednesday (9/16/09) and installed it today (9/21/09). The lock is very nice. Installation took me one hour, with no real surprises, and I took the time to install the lock flush with the door. I would consider myself a mid-level handyman.
If you are considering buying this lock I highly recommend it.
