Having had a recent request to repair a customers door jamb after a recent break in, I installed one of these Strikemaster II jamb re-inforcers and the solution proved it's worth within one week.
The customer's home was revisited by a burglar the next week after the Strikemaster was installed, but this time could not break the door down. The obvious signs of attempts were boot marks on the door. This proved for me the absolute value of this brilliant product.
In many customers homes, their actual front doors (or back doors) may be constructed using metal casings (on the door itself), but the actual jamb (where the door closes into) is usually made from wood. Whilst the door may be reasonably strong enough to withstand an attempted forced entry, the jamb is usually not. Enter Strikemaster II.
Locks210.com is pleased to make this product now available to residents and businesses in St Louis.
StrikeMaster II offers a unique and innovative solution to prevent burglars from entering your home, StrikeMaster II strikes-back instantly. Its patented strike plates make the door casing virtually unbreakable.

Open your front door and look at the dead bolt plate. There is one inch of soft wood protecting the safety of your home - your door casings can not protect you from a thief kicking your door
How much does a StrikeMaster II cost? $109.95 plus shipping/handling and installation.
A former police officer was recently quoted. "I am a retired Chief of Police with more than 30 years in law enforcement and security and have investigated 1000's of residential burglaries and domestic assaults that were due to the crashing or kicking in of the doors at the home. .... I am proud to announce that I have seen an amazing new product called the StrikeMaster II. This is inexpensive and stronger than any would-be homicidal maniac, I promise... the security market has finally produced a product that is better than locks and alarms. I highly recommend this product on all your outside doors at your home." - Donald Purnell CLL, CFE, Director of Security, Sentry Watch, Inc.
There are numerous testimonials to the quality of this product. One in particular is:
"On the 16th of May, 2005, our home in Chicago was broken into by thieves who shouldered/kicked their way in, through 3 separate doors, one entry and two apartments. A considerable amount of valuables and memorabilia were stolen, including identity theft. Upon observing the 'ease' of entry by these thieves, we set about investigating door protection measures on the internet.
After observing a very graphic video on the 'Safe Home International' site, we ordered the StrikeMaster II for overnight delivery, with the caveat that we would do a 'real-life' test after installation. My installer naturally had his doubts, as I asked him to kick and shoulder the door, after the product was installed. He asked me who would pay for the door frame repair 'in case it didn't work as advertised,'I said I would be responsible, since the safety of our family and property was of utmost concern. I weigh in at 240 lbs and I 'shouldered/kicked' the door three times, without it's failing. My installer, who closely approximates the LARGE individual in the graphic video, had at the door next. He shouldered it twice and kicked it last, his size 11 shoe imprint is still on the back door, although the wall seemed to 'bow in,' the door did not budge. My installer came away convinced, and I came away satisfied, that I made my Family and my Home that much more secure.
The cost/benefit ratio as well is definitely in favor of the StrikeMaster II in comparison with other devices currently on the market. To say that we are more than pleased with the results we obtained from the product, as well as it's support, would be an accurate assessment. -APA Chicago"

StrikeMaster II - New Installation
Last week, I received a job through the Service Magic contracting service to contact a customer to repair his door frame. I recommended him to visit this website and view the Strikemaster II product. He called me back the very next day to order an installation.
This customer suffered a break in where the exact purpose of the strikemaster was designed for. The door, being of solid construction and very good quality, the lock being of reasonable security and aesthetics, did their job properly, but the Jamb (where the door closes into) was made form light grade pine that was 1" x 2" in size. It broke with a small kick from a burglar and almost completely shattered the door frame.
The customer had inquired as to how much to get the whole frame replaced, elsewhere, before contacting Service Magic. My solution was the most economical and most aesthetically pleasing, negating the need to replace all the carpentry. The client saved 100's of dollars on the job as a result.

Strikemaster II - Copycat Test
Came across a test of a copycat of the Strikemaster II product as videoed by an independent dealer. They set up their own conditions and proved the effectiveness of their duplicated version of this clearly superior product.
The product displayed here is NOT Strikemaster II but quite possibly an infringe of the patent. Nonetheless, it still reinforces the reason why products of this kind greatly enhance the physical protection characteristics of door jambs and frames.
I have personally installed numerous Strikemaster II units, many of them to door jambs that looked almost identical to the one destroyed here.
One of the great things about Strikemaster II, is that installation on your home after a similar break in, can effectively reduce your repair/replace bill by multiple hundreds of dollars. To accurately compare the difference in costs, call a local builder/contractor and inquire as to the cost to install a completely new door and frame.

The benefit that Strikemaster II provides, that this copycat product does not, is the 5 feet of laminated protection, making it substsantially harder to penetrate.
A new door and frame will not withstand a kick-in attack like the Strikemaster II will, so take that into consideration when you look to purchase your new door.

Strikemaster II Pro - Still The Best offering To Repair And Prevent Door Frame Failure (Post Revisited - December 2009)
Back in 2008, we first posted about the fabulous Strikemaster II product. A product designed, manufactured and marketed by a colleague from North Carolina.
We have been continually selling and recommending this product for many years now, because it is one of the few products of it's kind that very inexpensively will repair your door after a door kick in without requiring you to replace the entire door and frame.
Below, find one of our first posts about this product and the original video that was made to explain it's features.
Over they last 10 years, we have installed hundreds of these products to customers who have suffered the heartbreak of door frame failure. I guess our clients love the fact that such a competitive priced American made product is widely available to correctly and professionally repair their door frames, without requiring they to spend significantly more for a new door and frame, that essentially will not protect them from similar attacks in future.
December 3, 2009
This video shows exactly how and why the Strikemaster 11 product is essential to securing homes and residences. This particular video is almost 4 years old and the price displayed there is incorrect.
The new Strikemaster 11 Pro product is an improvement to the design of this fantastic product and is available now. Whether you decide to order it direct from the manufacturer or through any of their dealers, the price is identical.
We expect stocks of the newer model in about 3 weeks time.
We previously talked about the Strikemaster 11 in March 2008.

Strikemaster II To The Rescue - Again
This week, we were called to another Home Advisor door repair project for a client who experienced door frame failure.
The image to the right here, shows the Strikemaster II product installed to repair the busted door frame. This particular installation required me to check the entire 5' strike plate into the existing frame after removing the weather stripping.
The Strikemaster II used here is NOT the Strikemaster II Pro, which is the updated product. We used the older product because the door, on a house built in the 1960's, was a very tight fit in its opening and the clearance between the door and frame when closed was about 1/16th". The typical gap around the edges of a door within it's frame should be 1/8th". This allows for weathering or frame movement if the house settles.
The second image shows the trim moulding removed. We had some difficulty sourcing replacement moulding because the width of the required moulding was 1-3/4" wide. That size hasnt been produced since at least 1970. All door trim moulding found today is a minimum 2" wide. We managed to source a supplier who could rip a new piece of moulding to enable to install it to the 1-3/4" frame and allow for the trim to neatly fit inside the brick clad wall, without having to damage the existing clad brick.
And the final image shows the new moulding reattached to the frame, ready for painting.
Being that the average door and frame replacement cost in our local region is ~$1100 - $1500 commonly, using a Strikemaster II or the newer Strikemaster II Pro can cut repair costs and time down to less than $300 total.

Bilock Deadbolt And Strikemaster II Prevent Break In Attempt
Even us locksmiths are sometimes preyed upon by nefarious people.
I arrived home just now, from running a service call, to find this picture of my lockbox smashed open.
Luckily there was no key inside.
I also saw a boot mark on the door, where they might have attempted to kick-in the door. About 3 years ago, I installed one of my Strikemaster II door frame protectors to this door frame and apparently it has performed it's task perfectly.
The Bilock deadbolt prevented picking or bumping and the Strikemaster II prevented the frame from being destroyed.
No losses occurred except for the one elcheapo lockbox.
So.....this is one of the reasons we continue to sing the virtues of the products we sell and recommend.
We choose to practise what we preach. If it's good enough for our select customers, it is also good enough for us too.
We have been designing, constructing and installing Bilock products for over 25 years and across 4 continents. It is one of the best products aimed at maximizing your security, while minimizing potential threats from picking, bumping or even unauthorized key duplication.
We became a distributor for the fabulous Strikemaster II Pro, about 5 years ago and have installed a great number, usually to customers who have already suffered a door frame failure resulting from their door being kicked in. The Strikemaster II Pro is one of the best methods for repairing a failed door frame, without the need to replace your entire door and frame. (Average cost in the greater St Louis region to replace a standard entrance door and frame is about ~$1200.00 - ~$1500.00)
I must say, I am very pleased that these products have lived up to their hype.

Bolt Buddy - Proactive Security Product Made In Canada Prevents Door And Frame Failure
Always Affordable Locksmiths Ltd are a family owned professional locksmith company in Canada that produce the fabulous Bolt Buddy deadbolt protection product.
The product, as described in the video above, is an effective security protection device that can thwart the most typical method of door break ins - kicking the door down.
We have been touting the strength and usability of the fabulous Strikemaster II Pro Door Frame Protection device for many years now and continue to offer the product as one of the best protection and jamb repair products on the market. American made and from North Carolina, The Strikemaster II Pro is unsurpassed in it strength, design and quality.
While we do find that some customers are proactive enough to install the Strikemaster II Products, most appear to wait until the horse has bolted before doing anything to "fix" their issues. This means that most customers wait until they have been broken into to install quality security protection products.
When you compare the average cost of replacing an entry door and frame in today's market to the sense in using the Bolt Buddy or the Strikemaster II Door Protection products, it really is a no-brainer. Yes, you can purchase a new door and frame at the big box store for $300-$500 and pay a cheapo handyman another $300-$500 to install it, but remember,"if you only want to pay peanuts, expect to get monkeys". The average cost for a professional door installer in my local market to supply and install a new entry door and frame, depending on desired model, is between $1200 - $1500.
The Bolt Buddy is a product designed to offer tentamount security at a fraction of the cost compared to other products. The ease of installation is attractive because a DIY'er or locksmith can easily install them in minutes.
I receive many calls to repair doors after being broken into. Over the last 10 years, I think it is one of my most called for project requests, to repair a kicked in door. I swear by the quality of the Strikemaster II Pro product. I am a user of it myself and it has protected my home from an attempted break in, so I am very happy to recommend it, from first hand experience.
I am really impressed with the simplicity in the design of this Bolt Buddy product. The small footprint and ease of installation will protect entrance doors for many years. The security protection of your family and your belongings is paramount in maintaining a happy balanced life and using a Bolt Buddy will help to ensure you are protected.
We are not a reseller yet of this product, but hope to be soon. It is not expensive and worth considering if you're proactive about the security of your home and family.

Door Frame Repair - After Break In, Using Strikemaster II
We just completed another repair project on behalf of a property management company, where the tenant had been the victim of a burglary attempt where the door was kicked in and the frame failed.
We are not painters and advise our clients of such during the estimate phase. We are happy to perform the required repairs quickly and at the residents convenience.
Below you can see the "before" images and understand what we were about to encounter.
This view is from the Garage side of the door we were to repair.
We advised the property manager that future painters would also be required to repair the walls and gaps around the exterior side of the frame.
Whomever had rehabbed this place, obviously decided to cut corners to save money (a common action of house flippers)
You can see the damage to the interior trim, the location where the strike for the entrance set and deadbolt has completely been broken out. Also the paint on the inside wall was torn away in the attack.
Here is a better angle of the damaged door frame.
This project type is one of our common project requests. Customers requiring to fix a broken door frame after suffering from door frame failure resulting from a kick-in attack.
When considering to repair or replace the entire door and frame, understanding that the average cost in the local market to supply and install a new door and frame can be ~$1100 - $1500 for a quality professional to install a standard door and frame, it becomes worthwhile to seek alternative solutions that reduce cost while upgrading the security of the location.
Enter the Strikemaster II. This phenomenal security and repair product is expertly designed and manufactured in the USA. A Safe Homes is a company based in the Carolinas that is on the forefront of product development, especially when it comes to safety, security and protection of the doors we all use daily.
This next image shows our completed repair using new trim and the Strikemaster II expertly installed,
Comparing this to the before pictures shows the entire gaping hole left by the door kick-in (where the entrance set latch and deadbolt go), is now completely hidden.
You can still see the area that requires painting, another project for another tradesperson for another time.
This image shows a different angle of the new trim and the still damaged paintwork.
Professional painter and decorators will first use caulk to seal the gaps between connecting pieces, Some painters will also remove the trim and paint the wall, then re-install the trim, creating more professional looking lines, that can then be caulked after the paint dries
This final image of the completed project shows a better view of the Strikemaster II. the unique patented product uses a 2 part process to create a "laminating" effect. Also the outer steel uses a lip designed to hook around the edge of the door frame. This lip is an integral part of the product design, because it increases the strength of the product when being attacked.
Strikemaster II also uses stainless steel screws about 3" long, that tie the product, through the flimsy thin frame, to the stud behind, effectively anchoring the new product and providing almost impenetrable strength.
Being 5' long and using 8-10 stainless steel screws, combined with the lip and the laminating effect, the product is very strong because a new attempt to kick-in the door will spread the weight applied by the kicking action across a wider surface.
It is unfortunately, all too common that a great many homeowners, property managers, residents and tenants just are not proactive enough to anticipate future events like door frame failure, by installing products like this in advance of an event. Perhaps purchasing new designer shoes is of greater importance than providing security protection for your family and colleagues.
Speaking to your local locksmith can provide you with some great knowledge and experience to effectively mitigate issues and events down the road.
This entire repair project cost about $300.00 and they could maintain their existing door and frame. Compare that to the average door and frame replacement cost, that does not apply similar door frame strengthening to prevent another kick-in attempt and you effectively spent almost a thousand dollars more without increasing security and protecting your family and possessions satisfactorily.

Strikemaster II Pro - New Shipment Just Arrived
Pictured here is a typical broken door frame/jamb, after a kick-in attack.
According to discussions I have personally had with members of local law enforcement agencies, this is the most typical method of break ins they come across.
Today, we received our first shipment of the new and improved Strikemaster II Pro door frame strengtheners.
In the second picture you can see the new version and how it looks when installed.
The new version includes an extended lip allowing better engagement of the entrance lock latch mechanism. It also includes a couple of knock out pieces for the deadbolt mechanism, to allow for varied installations (deadbolt is either fitted above or below a typical entrance set). Each unit still comes with ten (10) three inch (3") screws that connect the unit to the stud behind the frame.
I have been installing locks and systems for over 25 years in multiple countries across the world and typically, I have seen very similar entry techniques, just about everywhere.
I have been installing locks and systems for over 25 years in multiple countries across the world and typically, I have seen very similar entry techniques, just about everywhere.
Most entrance doors in the USA are metal clad wooden doors using typical key-in-knob entrance sets, sometimes with deadbolts also fitted above or below.
In cases of door frame failure (like pictured above), rarely has the actual door hardware failed. Even the cheap quality locksets can stand up to abuse, but the door strike (where the lock closes into) always seems to fail.
Using a Strikemaster II Pro, not only prevents door frame failure, but it repairs the damages often resulting from a kick-in.
Many door repairers will rarely quote to repair an existing door and frame because often the costs in labor are equivalent to or close to the costs of total replacement. Many door centers sell only complete doors and frames and they vary in cost from ~$500.00 for parts only. I have spoken with many builders and carpenters and builders about their average installation prices and the common reply is around $500.00 to $750.00 for labor.
The Strikemaster II Pro sells for $99.95 (plus tax). Installation usually takes a half hour with my installation and call out fee of $55.00.
Repairing your kicked-in door for less than $200.00 is smarter and more cost effective than a total door replacement.

Strikemaster II Pro
This video shows exactly how and why the Strikemaster 11 product is essential to securing homes and residences. This particular video is almost 4 years old and the price displayed there is incorrect.
The new Strikemaster 11 Pro product is an improvement to the design of this fantastic product and is available now. Whether you decide to order it direct from the manufacturer or through any of their dealers, the price is identical.
We expect stocks of the newer model in about 3 weeks time.
We previously talked about the Strikemaster 11 in March 2008.

Strikemaster II Pro - Product Update
A Safe Homes International has recently released some exciting new upgrades to the Strikemaster II Pro line of Door Frame Security products.
We have been selling this terrific product, well over 4 years now and have installed numerous units to people whose homes have suffered a break in due to door frame casing failure.
The updated product line, now includes a patent pending model designed to secure french (double) doors.
Also included in the line is a Door Edge Pro, designed to further strengthen the mechanism on the door edge. These simple, yet ingenious improvements further bolster the product line and to top things off - they have reduced the price for these fabulous products.
In this economy, where many manufacturers seem to be increasing their prices for their products, when the market is still suffering from economic sticker shock, along comes a quality inventor/manufacturer who releases product at lower pricing.
The incidence of break & enter is increasing across the world, as shown in our periodic crime statistics posts. Strikemaster products are purposely designed to offer the protection you need at a fraction of the prices that other makers want to charge.
Beware of copy cat products. Strikemaster products are proudly designed and manufactured in the USA.
View their new website in the source below for explanation videos and demonstrations of the new products.

Robbers Kick In Door Of St. Louis Home, Shoot Man
A June 19, 2015 article in the St Louis Post Dispatch tells about a homeowner in North St Louis County who was shot by intruders after they kicked down the front door.
Luckily the homeowner survived the brutal attack.
According to the article, the robbers were looking for guns and money.
This story highlights the need for better door protection products, purposely designed to thwart door frame failure.
We have been offering the fabulous Strikemaster II Pro Door Frame protection and repair product for almost 5 years now and have installed a significant number to doors after the door frame has already been damaged. We have sold and installed the product to concerned homeowners who proactively want to protect their homes and families with so far, no reported failures of the product.
We originally talked about the Strikemaster II Pro in this article back in December 2009.
One instance that comes to mind was when a customer called me on Thanksgiving 2010 after her front entrance was broken down by the fire department answering a smoke detector alarm call. She had left some soup on her stove turned down to low, to keep warm while she darted out to the shop. Smoke from the stove got into the smoke detector signalling the fire department who attended very quickly and broke down the door. Because she had a $4000 door, she was quoted by multiple contractors significantly expensive prices to replace her door and frame, however no one was able to come out for a week. She couldnt leave her door unsecure and was put off by the unrealistically expensive estimates. She got on to me through the Home Advisor network and I contacted her immediately, informed her about the Strikemaster II product, sent her to the product video on my website (in the above link), estimated the paltry cost and waited for her return call. She called back 15 minutes later and booked me for the next day. We attended the site, installed the Strikemaster II, which completely repaired her existing frame and covered all the damage, without having to replace her door and frame. Needless to say she was very pleased.
We are currently out of stock of the product, with new supplies expected in the next week.

Big Box vs Specialty Retailer
I receive a substantial number of searches each month on multiple subjects related to hardware and security products and services (as one might expect).
Master Key Systems America LLC and locks210.com-St Louis Locksmiths prides ourselves on bridging the gap between the Big Box retailers like Lowes and Home Depot or Walmart, Kmart, Target etc, by representing and selling unique and more specialized products and services.
We will also sell, install and service any requested product line our customers desire, although quite often, as expected, we are unable to sell product as competitively as the Big Box Stores.
Yet many searches being conducted, seem to be attempting to find our unique product offerings at Home Depot or Lowes or Walmart .
While the likelihood of finding products similar to our unique inventory at Lowes or Home Depot, might cause customers to think that they will benefit from more competitive prices, most of our product line will not be found there.
There are a surprising quantity of searches every month for our Strikemaster II product but using the additional keywords of Lowes or Home Depot, in attempt to find a more competitive price for this unique and superior specialized product.
The Strikemaster II product is manufactured in North Carolina by a small company that uses modern technology and practises to produce very high quality products. While it might seem like an advantage to have products like these on the Big Box shelves, the truth is that the backup, service and experience you receive from the specialist retailer (like me) far outweighs any perception of service you might receive from Lowes or Home Depot .
We are unable to sell the product at significantly lower prices (as might be expected at Lowes or Home Depot), because the manufacturer does not offer any pricing incentives for volume orders. If they were to offer the product at significantly advantaged prices based on volumes ordered to Lowes or Home Depot, the suggested retail prices that most other suppliers of the product sell it for would be severely eroded lowering the value of the product.
We at Master Key Systems America LLC, pride ourselves on offering premium quality products at quality prices. We understand that there is absolutely no way we can compete with the big box stores on $ for $ incentives and we hope our ever increasing clientelle understand and appreciate our efforts to improve their lives and the security of their families and properties.
There are multiple retailers who sell the Bilock Extreme Security product line too, yet this clearly superior locking product will not be found in the big box stores because it is far more complex than their untrained staff could handle.
When Lowes and Home Depot or Walmart and Kmart or Target buyers attempt to purchase from our specialist manufacturers the identical products that we sell and maintain, they try to convice those manufacturers that by selling a greater volume at a cheaper price, they will stand to make considerably more money sooner. This mentality only serves to lower the value perception of all products and causes the small business to be less competitive.
The customer thinks they are receiving the same product but at a better price, which is their principal motivation. This situation is not true for the longer term.
The small business economy is the largest single economy group in the nation (or the world, for that matter). By bypassing the small merchants, customers think that their money savings will benefit their wallets. While this may be true in the short term, the truth be told that putting small merchants out of business, will severely harm customers abilities to benefit from competitive prices in the future, because the big box retailers will be enabled to raise retail prices after putting the small businesses out of business.
It's your choice. If you want to see better prices, negotiate with your specialty retailer. Quite often they will be prepared to bargain with you if you show some loyalty.
Edit 3/25/2010 Home Depot are now selling Strikemaster II products Online only. Link

Burglars Hit Mike's Neighbors
Twittermic audiocast...StrikeMaster II
I took a call from Mike the other day who reported a problem with securing his front and back doors. It seems his neighbors in the other three condominiums had all been broken into by having their doors kicked open.
My first and automatic response to this kind of question is to recommend the Strikemaster II product be installed to front and back door jambs.
I explained that the cardinal reason, many doors get kicked open is because they are the easiest way to get in. You see, most locks today are installed on steel case doors. The inside and outside skin of modern external doors is encased in light steel. When installing any lock to the door the lock rarely gives way in attempted break ins. It is more often the door jamb. That area where the door closes into. The strike plate that most existing knobs and deadbolts lock into are most often held on to the door jamb by short 1" long wood screws. Why? Because most door jambs are constructed of 1" wide pine.
The secret to making sure your doors are secure, do go two fold.
First you need to make sure the door locks are unable to be picked or bumped or bypassed. I recommend Bilock Extreme Security products for total lock protection.
Second you need to ensure that the door jamb is secured to the stud behind it. Using the Strikemaster II, provides 5' long laminated steel brace secured by 10 x 3" screws, designed to attach to the stud behind the door jamb.
Combining these two methods will deter virtually any reasonably determined intruder.
We are booked next Thursday, thanks Mike.

Top 10 Searches for April 2010
This website has been very kind to me in the last few years with an average of 300-500 search hits every month since 2006. There are probably some good reasons for this luck, but I suggest it is likely because of the significant amount of original content included here-in.
I have decided to try to include a monthly post highlighting the 10 most popular searched for terms that led viewers to this site.
These search results are gathered from my Google Analytics reports.
As you can see, there are significant numbers of searches for keyword terms surrounding keyed pocket door locks.
Our Cowdroy P697 Pocket Door Lock with Key, is proving (not surprisingly) popular in it's genre.
Other popular keyword search terms in the past month, include Schlage Securekey Problems.
Schlage Securekey is a new product recently released by Schlage in answer to and to compete with Kwikset's Smart-Key product line. The widespread discussion and marketplace concern about the lock bumping phenomenon, has forced some lock manufacturers to update their product designs.
We have been conducting our own tests of the Schlage Securekey product and anticipate presenting some interesting findings in the not too distant future.
Strikemaster II seems to be continuing it's popularity in searched for terms. The product is beautifully designed to prevent door frame casing failure, effectively preventing the most common break-in method of door kick-ins.
Expect to see more articles about the popular searched for keyword phrases in upcoming posts.

Home Invasion Statistics Across USA
Home invasions across the USA are increasing supposedly due to the poor economy and the ease at which perpetrators are learning to ply their trade, thanks in part to the enormous amount of information spreading across the internet.
There are a few companies here that are producing unique quality products aimed at preventing home invasions and identifying criminals.
StranDNA is one such company that produce a modern itteration of the ages old door chain.
Strikemaster II is produced by A Safe Homes International, designed to repair a broken door frame casing while at the same time preventing future door kick ins.
OnGard Door Brace is produced by an Atlanta based company designed to prevent door entry.
Bilock is an internationally acclaimed guaranteed 100% bump proof and virtually pick proof key system with keys that cannot be copied.

Locks Are Only As Strong As The Doors And Frames Holding Them
Recently came across this fascinating video about how easily firefighters break down entrances.
Conventional thinking, with regard to security products and locking systems, rarely actually take into account the strength of the door or jamb. Sometimes, it may not matter how expensive a lock you install on your entry, a determined burglar with the right tools will cause such destructive entry all too easily.
Video after the jump.

Danny was very professional and friendly at the same time. He not only gave me the quote and fixed the exterior door and explained his work. He was prompt and upfront about the work and did the work. He came in time took care of it on the same day. (Sasheethn K St Louis MO) June 2018d out problems but assured not urgent. Please feel free to have Danny pass out my number for my total experience review 314-351-5553

Danny was pleasure to meet and was very knowledgable. He explained several lock replacement options but I decided none of them were a good fit for a storm door, however, I did replace a lock on my entry door with a type of lock I had never seen before. I would highly recommend this company.
Patricia J (Bridgeton, MO) March 2014
They were prompt and showed up when he said he would show up. He knew his stuff. I had ordered new handles and he was honest enough to say that we don't need them that he can fix the doors and he did. Made me lock and unlock my doors to his satisfaction so that I knew what to do. Am very, very pleased with the service and cost.
Joyce K (Glencoe, MO) May 2015

Stephen G (Chesterfield, MO) May 2015
Daniel was right on time, assessed the problems I had with two doors, made the repairs, and explained what caused the problems to begin with .... He is a "door expert" and a true professional. I highly recommend him.
Vince V (St. Louis MO) May, 2015
Danny was fabulous! He went over my concerns and he provided me with more than a fair quote. He was there when he said he was going to be there. I would highly recommend Danny. Cheers!
Denise S (Imperial, MO) May 8, 2014
Hired Danny to re-key locks on "new" house purchase. He advised to replace with new deadbolts & door knobs on 3 entry doors instead which I agreed with. All doors have 1 matching key & the safety of excellent quality product & workmanship. He also added new strike plate to door frame to complete project.. I recommend as your 1st & only call to a Locksmith.

The owner spent a longtime with me on the phone helping diagnosis the problem. He was on-time, friendly and helped resolve my issue. I will definitely use him again!
Chris C (Lake St Louis, MO) July 2013
I had a very pleasant experience with Master Key Systems. They came out, did the job (which took longer than expected) and they did not change the price they quoted me. Now, I am not certain that it was a great value for the money because I don't have a comparison, but they did what they said, when they said, for the price they said. Enough said!!!
Antonio B (Saint Louis, Missouri) March 2013
Professional.. Upfront about charges. Fixed the sticky door within 20 minutes. I will recommend Master Key for exterior door issues.
Muthu R (Ballwin, MO) July 2012

Marsha L (Saint Louis, MO) July 2012
Danny was excellent! I called him on a Monday to fix a sliding glass door. He happened to have the exact part we needed (and it was not an easy find - we had looked everywhere) and he came over Tuesday evening. He stayed until 8:00 until the job was done, and cleaned up afterwards. He was courteous, professional, and efficient! I could not be happier!
Rachel P Maryland Heights, MO (July 2012)
He did an excellent job. Got there on time and quickly solved the issue. Was very pleasant and explained the situation and how to keep the door from sticking in the future. Would definitely use Master Key LLC again!
Neil F. (Saint Louis, MO) April 2012
Danny was very friendly and knowledgeable, although his apprentice seemed to do most of the work, Danny kept an eye on him to make sure it was done right. He had very reasonable pricing for re-keying.

Growing up spending so much of my time in Italy, the uniqueness of the Nova Classico left quite an impression on me. To be able to have and enjoy them in my own home here in the states is a nostalgic indulgence I'm enjoying beyond words. Thank you Danny for coordinating this transaction.

James & Florenc M Saint Louis, MO July 2011
The repairman was on time and did an excellent job of fixing a very stubborn door lock. He was persistent and cleaned up the work area afterwards. I would use this service again.

Danny at Master Key Systems has succeeded in making the purchasing of our Meroni door locks, from Italy, an absolute breeze. Even though I live in Australia with a 16hr time difference and was ordering door knobs from Italy that weren't in stock, the whole process was faultless. Danny was prompt and efficient with all his emails and made sure we had covered every possible variable so that the product I received was exactly as required. I would have no hesitation in recommending Danny for your next purchase.

Your product really helped because I needed to secure a nurse's station adjacent to a waiting room and needed a pocket door. Unfortunately, no real options were available to lock a pocket door effectively that would keep me compliant with HIPAA and secure an area that stores medical supplies. This was vitally important as this particular waiting room was for "waiting detox patients". Thank you very much.
Randall R The Fritz Clinic (Birmingham, Al) March 2011
Danny was very polite and knew what the problem was and how to fix it. He also gave me some information about other issues that could arise with my door and locks. Will hire again if I ever need that type of work done.
Jason M Imperial, MO March 2011
I had an exterior basement door that dragged when opening and closing. The hinges were not fitting properly and the door frame had shifted, probably due to the age of the house. The screwswould not go far enough into the wall without hitting stone...even using a special drill bit. Dan worked a long time drilling and sanding to shore up the door as best as possible. I know it will never be perfect. He could have easily sold me a new door and the same issue would happen. He was honest, thorough, and did an excellent job without charging me a fortune. I'm satisfied with the door now. If you want an honest, experienced man, Then Dan is the man

I purchased the Cowdroy P697 Pocket door lock with key over the internet. I emailed questions before my purchase and was provided with the answers quickly by return email. The purchase was quick and easy and the lock was shipped immediatly. Installation is quick and easy. But you do need to convert millimeters to inches (use the internet) in the installation instructions. And the lock looks great and works great. I will do business with them again. THANK YOU
