ADI Block Lock - Total Security Bolt Protection Unrivaled The World Over

This is the top security ADI Block Lock made by ADI Security, an Australian manufacturer of superb security products originally founded by Brian and Peter Preddy and being bought out by Locksmith Supply Company a few years ago. Locksmith Supply Company are the original Locksmith Industry supply house that has provided hardware, machinery and tools to the locksmith industry in Australia for almost 100 years.

We recently brought in (to USA) a number of these specialty lock products for use as custom security products for our clients needs. We are negotiating with LSC to become an exclusive distributor for this product line in the USA.

We brought in their through fix bolt version with some extended bolts, which are particularly useful for doors or cabinets where the frame construction may be wider apart than standard frames.

We will post some images and a video of our installation in a follow up post.

As expected, quality security products like these are not cheap. Quality costs a fair price. These ADI products are very good quality. I have personally installed many of their varying products over the last 35 years in the industry and attest to their strength and reliability.

We have also written about some of ADI's other products over the last 10 years, like the ADI Cap Lock, a product designed for tradespeople like plumbers and electrians who often carry long rooftop containers on their vehicles to transport pipes, cables, rods etc that are too long to conveniently carry inside their secure vehicles. The Cap Lock secures the end of the tube, protecting from theft and unauthorized access.

Another of ADI's products we have written about is the Slim Line Patio Bolt, an especially designed and constructed product that is super strong and able to be used on narrow frames of doors or gates. Like other ADI products, the Slim Line Patio Bolt also uses an oval key cylinder that can also be converted to many differing brands of high security restricted key cylinders, like Bilock, Abloy Protec, Medeco, Schlage Primus, C123, Multilock among other brands (consult your local restricted key system provider for compatible restricted key cylinders to suit)

We welcome inquiries from interested consumers and fellow security professionals, who may find a use for these fantastic security products.

Kwikset Smartkey Problems.... (Update)

8/23/2018 UPDATE: We just updated the video above to a better video from our colleague Terry Whin-Yates.

The original post, including many comments from viewers can be found here.

The post in the link above is by far, the most popular and frequently viewed post on this website.

Came across an interesting blogpost today that has several comments by product users, all complaining about similar problems shortly after installing Kwikset Smartkey locks.

One such comment by a poster....

"Our smartkey failed this evening. We locked both deadbolt and door as we left, came home to locked out. I called kwikset and after working with them on the phone trying to wiggle the key to the 1/4 turn position to try and get it to the learn position – nothing worked. The customer support person said since we had keys duplicated using the grinding method instead of having a locksmith stamp them out the keys had made the cams in the lock out of alignment. I asked CS how we will get in if we are on the OUTSIDE wanting in and he said we would have to either find another way in or drill out the cylinder. They are sending a replacement cylinder. No thanks – I don’t want to take the chance."

Another...

"My husband just bought this and installed it yesterday. While “rekeying” to our key, it stopped working! Now both the key that came with it doesn’t open the door nor the new key. I was looking for the company’s website for troubleshooting the problem and found this! Glad we kept the receipt as this installation is not continuing! Thank you all for commenting! You are saving more people from getting ripped off with this lock!"

Another...
"What a nightmare. My baby boy moves out to his first house and buys the kwikset smartkey to assure his security.comes home one night, pouring down rain and 28 degrees outside cant get in the house the key doesnt fit the lock .He has to sleep out in the car all night long.what a nightmare.never again will a smartkey be bought especially $80.00.there needs to be a recall on the kwikset smartkey.what a let down."

Another...
"What a joke, installed YESTERDAY, worked perfectly fine until coming home today with groceries and a 6 month old, to find out our key no longer worked. Was told by customer service that this is NOT an issue and people do not have this problem (Obviously I told him to check this website, because he was wrong)

Option one, I can take the deadbolt off my front door to bring to Home Depot and have them fix the lock, which would leave my house unsecure as there would be NO lock on my door. The other option is to wait 5-7 days for a new lock from them. He said the new lock they will send me is more efficient then the one month old lock already installed and he guarantees it will not have this problem.
In the meantime, how the heck am I supposed to get in and out of my house if my lock doesn’t work?
WHAT A JOKE! Take these stupid things offffff the market"
Another...
" I received the new smart key cylinder from
Kwieset and installed it on the front door. From the get-go I had problems, only some of the existing keys worked. Bought new keys and they seemed to work better for a short time. Now they are giving me problems. I have to jiggle them inside the lock to unlock the door and even now they are giving me problems. Finally I had enough: no trust in the lock and never knew when I would be locked out again. I took the smart key cylinder out and installed the old lock, which is a non smart key. At least now I have peace of mind that it will always work. I am keeping the old smart key locks, because I know with all the problems that everybody is having, there has to be a recall and maybe I can get my money back, but I will not hold my breath. Keep complaining to Kwikset about the so called smart key. I wasn’t very smart to buy it in the first place."

Many people seem to think that locksmith services are too expensive. In fact locksmith services are often cheaper than purchasing the DIY products from the big box hardware stores, because locksmiths have taken the time and training to master their product lines. Installation, service, maintenance all taken care of by a true technician with experience in the field.

I understand the perception that DIY is often cheaper, but realistically the locksmith (one of the oldest professions) has deliberately trained to service, advise and protect consumers from the poor advice and suggestions often received at the big box stores from untrained, unknowing part time sales assistants.

I regularly see both Kwikset Smartkey and Schlage Securekey products in the field. Often they are purchased by consumers at the big box hardware stores because most locksmiths refuse to stock them.
I can easily reset the tumblers for clients, often because they have lost the reset tool for the Kwikset or are simply unaware that the process is uncomplicated. The Schlage Securekey is a little more complicated process to re-key, but this is because many customers no longer have access to the blue reset key.

For the better (and often cheaper) products, visit your local locksmith today and find out the why's and how's behind purchasing suitable functional and correct locking systems and products.

Goji - Crowdfunded Wireless Smartphone Controlled Deadbolt Fails To Launch

I'm not sure if you have seen or know about the Goji Smart lock that was being crowdfunded via multiple separate crowdfunding sites in the last couple of years, but a report out a couple of days ago indicates that this particular product has failed to launch.

The Smart Lock market has been evolving for a number of years now and according to sources, is expected to rise from the current fledgling $8 Billion market to $120 Billion by 2025.

There are a number of entrants that have evolved in recent years and we have written about a few of them. Products like the August Smartlock, the Lockitron and others. We have found that many of these "new breed" of stand alone wireless smart locks are being developed by entrepeneurs who lack industry knowledge, experience and longevity.

The large industry players like Assa-Abloy, Yale, Schlage, Kwikset, Master and others who have been in the security product manufacturing industry for a great many years, are also firmly entrenched in the Smart Lock market. But the difference between these industry stalwarts and the current breed of new entrepeneurs has much to do with their successes developed over many years of R&D, interaction with their customers and tried and proven manufacturing practises that continue to produce the high-quality requested by the consumer driven market.

Goji, obviously was seen to have merit and raised about $800,000.00 through multiple crowdfunding sites including Indiegogo and Fundable.

This news is not surprising really. there are many entrants to the smart lock market that appear to not have done their due diligence and market feasibility studies prior to launch. Goji had developed a promising looking product that operated with Android and iOS operating systems, but I suggest that the actual integration of these sophisticated smart phone operating systems proved too much for the Goji team to master.

Goji CEO Gabriel Bestard-Ribas is quoted in a letter written earlier this week,

Kwikset Announces Web Enabled Deadbolts

Breaking News!

Kwikset announces availability of Smartcode with Home Connect technology, remote access control products at
Cedia 2009, Atlanta.

According to the release, "these one-of-a-kind keyless entry electronic locks, developed for interoperability with home automation and security systems, can communicate wirelessly with other devices in the home and deliver a variety of access control options for the utmost in residential security."

Hot on the heels of Ingersoll Rand's Schlage Z-Link technolgy, but using the new Smartkey Bump Proof technology, this announcement signals a major game changer in the residential security products market.

According to the press release, "the lock will allow you to check door lock status, automatically allow you to arm or disarm your security system" (if connected) "and initiate customized scenes upon entry and exit. The lock offers true remote locking and unlocking features due to it's motorized deadbolt, allowing homeowners to monitor and control their locks, using either a Web-enabled device or their home automation system."

Installation is simple as the new product replaces virtually any existing deadbolt application, uses AA batteries, making it completely wireless and eliminating the need for hardwiring. The lock even has the ability to receive automatic software updates and all wireless communication between devices remains secure using 128 bit encryption.

The primary difference between this new product and other competing brands, is the first time useability to actually operate the motorized deadbolt remotely using a cell phone, web-enabled mobile device, web-connected computer or a security system panel.

I believe this product will signal a significant shift in the dynamics of the home security market.
It will become fundamentally important for physical security products and services providers to update their education and skills, to offer consumers the best possible advantages.

Stay tuned for the imminent release of locations to purchase.

Meroni - The Answer To Cost Effective ADA Compliant Hardware

$ for $ comparison pitted the Meroni hardware at about half the cost of the other more widely recognized brand names. (Including installation costs)

watch the two videos to see how it is installed.

The first video above, shows the handle set just after it was initially installed before the final inside cover was installed.

We used Don-Jo scar plates to cover the 2-1/8" crossbore holes allowing the Combina hardware to easily and securely fit.
The Meroni hardware uses a footprint of about 1-3/4" (40mm) crossbore's, so the scar plate is necessary to save from using a wrap around or having to replace the door or fill the hole and re-drill.

Bilock - Key of the Future, Here Today

Bilock is without doubt the world's leading modern key system.

Sure, it is a system originally developed in Australia in the 1970's, but it has proven since then that it will fit in the widest range of other manufacturers product lines.

From Schlage to Baldwin, Arrow to Corbin, Carbine to Cal-Royal, Marks to Russwin, USLock to LSDA to GMS, Bilock cylinders will retrofit in almost all quality hardware from many of the leading manufacturers.

To top that off, Bilock's engineers will custom manufacture any requested application. So, if you want to have your obsure lock or handle operate using the remarkably secure and fully protected and patented Bilock Extreme Security locking system, simply contact us today for an estimate.

As you can see in the above picture, Bilock also manufactures many OEM products too. The picture also shows many cylinders designed to retro-fit into your existing hardware.

This means that you can reduce the cost of securing your properties by replacing just the cylinders instead of the complete hardware (handles or locks).

Why not maintain your existing functions while having the leading key control system with the most competitively priced, aesthetically pleasing color coded keys and locks of their kind available today?

Bilock products are found in almost every country in the world. Most casinos rely on Bilock products to maintain the security of poker machines, cash dispensers even hotel room doors. The versatility of master key systems using Bilocks multi-million key changes, the ability to identify easily which key works which lock by the color coded heads, combined with the virtually impossible to pick or bump mechanism makes Bilock your best choice for securing your family and your posessions.

How many different brands of locks do you have at home or the office? Do you need so many different keys to maintain all those locks? Speaking to our trained Bilock technicians could potentially reduce your key needs to just one key, without necessarily replacing all your hardware.

It makes perfect sense in todays economy to give yourself peace of mind with the best security products performing the best and most reliable functionality while maintaining the original look and feel of your existing hardwares, using easily identifiable keys that are color coded and impossible to duplicate.

Why are the keys so hard to duplicate?

Because they are all created as originals. Each key is carefully produced and folded into shape making each key unique (even if they are copies of each other).

As the leading Bilock dealer in the mid-west, we use sophisticated software to build all our systems. All keys are recorded and individually marked with a unique number. Tracking your keys will never be so easy.

Delaware To Update School And Institution Security Hardware Requirements To Overhauled Policy

Classroom Security has been becoming an alarming and increasing issue across North America in recent years, with the increasing numbers of armed intruders causing havoc to junior elementary (sub-primary), elementary (primary), junior high school and senior high school campuses, as well as a number of higher education colleges and universities.

Intruders, often bullied former students or disgruntled staff members, are fast becoming a major thorn to the security of our children while they are at school.

Delaware State House of Representatives, this week is currently debating and voting on a major policy change and update, aimed at increasing significantly, the security hardware and protocols at all the states schools, colleges and universities.

Many schools across the USA, already use quality door lock systems to secure doors, but many of the existing measures have been found wanting in recent times. This has caused much angst by parents and teachers, concerned with offering quality education to our children in safe, secure environments.

There are a great many products across the wider marketplace that already offer significant strength and security, but too few schools are bothering to spend the necessary investments to protect their faculty, staff and pupils.

There are many different brands of lock systems that provide increased strength and design, to better protect our children, including double cylinder lever entrance sets (called Classroom Locksets), including but not limited to Yale, Corbin, Schlage, Arrow, Assa, Abloy and many others.

Essentially, "a double cylinder classroom lockset functions like almost any other lever or knob entry set, except that it uses an internal keyed cylinder to enable the locking of the outside handle, while ensuring the inside handle remains unlocked and still easy to escape through, if required (maintaining life safety and International Building Code policies and rules)."

Some schools and institutions are spending millions of dollars to increase the security of their classrooms and entrances, but often they neglect to ensure that doors and windows include bullet resistant glass or resistant window films. Many seem to believe that the quality lockset and an alarm system will provide enough security to prevent an armed intruder from wreaking havoc through their schools.

Delaware are debating the inclusion of alarm systems, bullet proof accessories and double-keyed locksets.

In our 35+ years of locksmithery across the world, we have installed many locksets to school entrances and classrooms to increase the security of these doors.

In one case many years ago, one school decided to install double cylinder deadbolts to every door, as recommended by their security analyst and architect, before consulting with professional locksmiths, who are deliberately trained in physical hardware that complies with life safety, building codes, insurance requirements to protect would-be users of these rooms.
Our company was asked to install according to the plan and completed the request, against our better judgement, while warning the school officials that their desire was not legal. One week prior to the opening of the new school term, state and local inspectors came in to certify the school for opening, but when they saw the double cylinder locks fitted to all doors, they immediately failed the school because they did not comply with building and life safety codes.
Our company was once again called in to rectify the issues with new "approved" products that met or exceeded the codes, adding significant cost to the project. Our company worked overtime to complete the task prior to the school opening on time.

This reinforces the point that involving your local trained professional locksmith can and will augment your bottom line costs and save you considerable angst and compliance issues down the road.

There are many professional locksmith companies across North America, that provide trained professionals with field experience that are able to provide best-case-scenario advice, that will help any organization to increase their physical and electronic security measures, without breaking the bank.

IR Microlock (Now Rosslinear)- Stand Alone Battery Powered Electric Strike

Ingersoll-Rand, the parent company of the Schlage Lock Company, were producing quality physical security products for many years.

Pictured here, is a product that has many and varied applications.

This is a stand-alone, narrow stile (mullion) battery powered electric strike with keypad entry.

This application can be installed easily in many hard to fit applications.

Many requests are for access control products that enable keypad entry systems. But there are few products that are designed for the narrow-stile doors found in common shopfronts that are competitively priced and functional.

There are other products that can be used on narrow-stile doors but not many that are purposely designed, battery powered, simple enough to work with your existing lock*, cost effective and of similar quality to this brilliant product.

The Rosslinear is battery powered with an electric strike and numbered keypad and iButton reader.

The strike and keypad is powered by a small in-built lithium powered battery. External cabling and conduit are not required.

The strike is designed to be used with mortise latches or tubular latches, like your common key-in-knob entrance set. It can be used with either knobs or levers.

The Rosslinear strike is suited to individual offices, serviced offices, business centers, communal entries, appartment main entry doors, computer and server rooms, electrical and telecommunication cupboards, store rooms, banks and cash drawers (time- delay model).

There are two models available, standard and additional featured.

Standard
  • Access can be keypad (4 - 8 digits) or iButton
  • Weather Resistant Keypad
  • Temporary keypad lockout to foil attempted guessing of PIN code
  • Security cannot be breached by removal of keypad
  • Up to 20,000 operations from 3V lithium battery (supplied)
  • Ease of programming and operation
  • 200 user capacity
  • Passage Mode (Door can be left unlocked)
  • No additional software to add or delete users
  • Anti-tailgate automatic relocking
  • No hardwiring or external power supply needed
  • Easy to install - no licensed technician required
Additional Features
  • Ability to add or delete users without affecting other users
  • Time delay opening (up to 16 minutes)
  • User lockout function enables all users to be temporarily denied access

Some Example Installations:

Update 08/25/2011: The Ingersoll Rand Microlock is discontinued. The inventor has partnered with Lock Focus to produce the Rosslinear Battery Powered Electric Strike.

We are the exclusive agents in the USA for this fabulous product. We have installed these to communal secure access doors for schools, condominium complexes and automobile dealers.
Many pizza delivery drivers doors use these exclusively because of their ease of installation and low cost.

Key Cutting VS Key Originating

American Key Supply are a San Francisco based locksmith supply company who specialize in the supply of automotive key machines, supplies and automotive locksmithing knowledge. They serve the locksmith market primarily. To use any or some of their products you need to be a locksmith or affiliated with an industry organization.

The video above shows just how easy and accurate, duplicating a Schlage standard key is. We note here that the operator is actually originating the duplicate key instead of just copying it, using one of the industries latest and greatest key code machines.

The 3D Pro is fast becoming the industries sought after machine because it includes in it's range both automotive and residential/commercial key types. Instead of the traditional duplicating method, this machine is designed to read the actual depth of a lock's working key and then copy the recorded depths on to a keyblank, effectively creating an exact duplicate of the tendered key.

This method of key origination can help consumers to get exact duplicates of their keys, except that their new keys are in fact cut to factory specifications. This can help to protect the lock cylinder from unavoidable wear that occurs when an incorrectly duplicated key enters the key cylinder.

As you would expect, keys that are originated as opposed to duplicated, can be slightly more expensive but having correct original factory specified keys that operate your locks consistently and repeatedly might be more valuable than the down time created when duplicating keys at the independent or big box hardware stores (that often do not work).

This particular machine is definitely on my wish list.

Door Knobs, Locks and Pulls in St Louis MO

For the last couple of years, I have been referring many clients to visit a very professionally set up and run showroom, that displays many assorted high quality brands of locks, pulls, door knobs, and cabinet hardware.

Many people choose to still shop at Lowe's and Home Depot for their hardware, but the professional advice and dedicated specialist displays presented by Locks & Pulls Design Elements located at 9590 Manchester Rd, Rock Hill, MO are second to none in the local St Louis market.

The company is owned by reknowned plating industry professionals Thiess Plating Co., a St Louis icon in excess of 60 years service to the greater St Louis community.

Pictured to the left, are some of the displays you can view in their showroom.

On display, are products from leading manufacturers, including Baldwin, Schlage, Kwikset, Emtek etc.

The extremely wide ranging displays and vast depth of products offered are tailored to the discerning tastes of home owners, remodellers and devellopers.

Visitors to their store often find replacement products for some of the very old hardware found in many of the period homes around St Louis. Many new home builders and renovators find the friendly staff and ambient environment suitable to helping them choose suitable and functional decorative locks, pulls, door knobs and decorative hardware to suit their varied tastes.

As the showroom for Thiess Plating Co, the staff can advise on repair and refurbishing of existing hardware at surprisingly competitive prices.

Meroni Pigio 1-13E Push-Pull Entrance Set Installed To High-Traffic Door In Luxury Car Dealership

Last week, we installed the Meroni Pigio 1-13E to a high-traffic door in a local luxury car dealership.
As expected, teething problems occur with many new products. We went back today to adjust and re-allign the product and fitting.

The installation was in place of a typical lever handle set, that was causing no end of problems for staff and they were taping over the latch to keep the door from locking/closing.

Using a Meroni Pigio enables efficient and simple intrinsic operation of the door by anyone, with the benefit of virtually hands free use. Operate the handle with your elbow, your arm, your butt, your hip or even your hand. No handle to turn or grip, makes physically challenged or arthritis suffering users feel more in control because physically gripping and turning a knob or lever can be painful.

In this environment, we installed the product to a heavy steel door and were required to use additional Don-Jo scar plates to cover the old holes, for a clean professional look.

This version of the Meroni Pigio is the emergency unlock feature, which unlocks the locked handle from inside when the paddle is activated, turning the locking turn-button (a design change recently adopted by Schlage in their F51 series residential knobset)

Meroni Pigio locks come in 3 versions, P1, P2 and P3

Meroni Pigio P1

Meroni Pigio P2

Meroni Pigio P3
The Meroni Pigio range is available in a host of varying color finishes and materials.
Check out the source below for the MSDS.

With a range of accessories and functions that suit many varying styles and sizes of doors, using the Meroni Pigio lock system offers advantages that other brands do not offer and often attempt to emulate.

Our most popular searches for July 2010 include...

The month of July, 2010 realized 397 direct hits from searches on this website. Just short of our all time monthly record, it shows a definite upward trend in hits from search results.

Month over month we show a 27% increase in search query results.

Pictured to the left we show the more popular search terms from our analytics. These terms are collected from all the search engines and are the most common searched for terms that lead people to this site.

While I am pleasantly surprised at the inclusion of our signature product Bilock into this months list, Pocket door locks with key, continues to post significant gains in popularity. Interesting too is the quantity of searches for Schlage Securekey Problems.

We are finding increasing quantities of calls locally for door repairs, especially due to the increased extreme weather conditions experienced this year. These door repairs include warping thresholds, doors dropping, hinges loose etc.

Our primary training is in the field of locksmithing, but locksmithing actually is an amalgamation of a number of other specialist trades. Specifically Boilermaker, Fitter and Turner, Welder, Carpenter, Auto Mechanic, Machinist, Lathe Operator, electronics technician, architect.

Master keying is a part of the trade that is unique to locksmiths. Many modern day proximity card system manufacturers take their ideas from the advances made by the locksmith industry. If it were not for locksmiths, many of todays quality physical and electronic security products may not have been created. It is because of locksmiths that many of todays security products are scrutinized to determine their viability for market.

Consulting your local locksmith should be considered a priority in any decisions about door locks, hardware, security systems, keys, access control and protection for your home, office, colleagues and family.

Danny was very professional and friendly at the same time. He not only gave me the quote and fixed the exterior door and explained his work. He was prompt and upfront about the work and did the work. Danny was pleasure to meet and was very knowledgable. He explained several lock replacement options but I decided none of them were a good fit for a storm door, however, I did replace a lock on my entry door with a type of lock I had never seen before. I would highly recommend this company.

They were prompt and showed up when he said he would show up. He knew his stuff. I had ordered new handles and he was honest enough to say that we don't need them that he can fix the doors and he did. Made me lock and unlock my doors to his satisfaction so that I knew what to do. Am very, very pleased with the service and cost.

Showed up on time for appointment. Was very knowledgeable about the project and offered a solution beyond what I asked to be done.

Daniel was right on time, assessed the problems I had with two doors, made the repairs, and explained what caused the problems to begin with .... He is a "door expert" and a true professional. I highly recommend him.

Danny was fabulous! He went over my concerns and he provided me with more than a fair quote. He was there when he said he was going to be there. I would highly recommend Danny. Cheers!

Hired Danny to re-key locks on "new" house purchase. He advised to replace with new deadbolts & door knobs on 3 entry doors instead which I agreed with. All doors have 1 matching key & the safety of excellent quality product & workmanship. He also added new strike plate to door frame to complete project.. I recommend as your 1st & only call to a Locksmith.

Needed patio door track to run smoothly. Arrived early, fixed door and explained what he was doing during repair. Quick and easy. Door works great, my wife will now speak to me, and I've become a better dancer.

The owner spent a longtime with me on the phone helping diagnosis the problem. He was on-time, friendly and helped resolve my issue. I will definitely use him again!

I had a very pleasant experience with Master Key Systems. They came out, did the job (which took longer than expected) and they did not change the price they quoted me. Now, I am not certain that it was a great value for the money because I don't have a comparison, but they did what they said, when they said, for the price they said. Enough said!!!

Antonio B (Saint Louis, Missouri) March 2013

Professional.. Upfront about charges. Fixed the sticky door within 20 minutes. I will recommend Master Key for exterior door issues.
Muthu R (Ballwin, MO) July 2012

Danny was a master craftsman, knowledgable and professional. I will be calling on him again in the future as well as passing on his services to friends and family.

Danny was excellent! I called him on a Monday to fix a sliding glass door. He happened to have the exact part we needed (and it was not an easy find - we had looked everywhere) and he came over Tuesday evening. He stayed until 8:00 until the job was done, and cleaned up afterwards. He was courteous, professional, and efficient! I could not be happier!

Rachel P Maryland Heights, MO (July 2012)

He did an excellent job. Got there on time and quickly solved the issue. Was very pleasant and explained the situation and how to keep the door from sticking in the future. Would definitely use Master Key LLC again!

Neil F. (Saint Louis, MO) April 2012

Danny was very friendly and knowledgeable, although his apprentice seemed to do most of the work, Danny kept an eye on him to make sure it was done right. He had very reasonable pricing for re-keying.
Greg D (St Louis, MO) October 2011

Growing up spending so much of my time in Italy, the uniqueness of the Nova Classico left quite an impression on me. To be able to have and enjoy them in my own home here in the states is a nostalgic indulgence I'm enjoying beyond words. Thank you Danny for coordinating this transaction.

I searched the internet and found your services. I received three phone calls within several days. A service call was scheduled. Two gentlemen arrived promptly, analyzed the problem and fixed it.
James & Florenc M Saint Louis, MO July 2011

The repairman was on time and did an excellent job of fixing a very stubborn door lock. He was persistent and cleaned up the work area afterwards. I would use this service again.

Danny at Master Key Systems has succeeded in making the purchasing of our Meroni door locks, from Italy, an absolute breeze. Even though I live in Australia with a 16hr time difference and was ordering door knobs from Italy that weren't in stock, the whole process was faultless. Danny was prompt and efficient with all his emails and made sure we had covered every possible variable so that the product I received was exactly as required. I would have no hesitation in recommending Danny for your next purchase.
Patrick Carr (Canberra, Australia)

Your product really helped because I needed to secure a nurse's station adjacent to a waiting room and needed a pocket door. Unfortunately, no real options were available to lock a pocket door effectively that would keep me compliant with HIPAA and secure an area that stores medical supplies. This was vitally important as this particular waiting room was for "waiting detox patients". Thank you very much.
Randall R The Fritz Clinic (Birmingham, Al) March 2011

Danny was very polite and knew what the problem was and how to fix it. He also gave me some information about other issues that could arise with my door and locks. Will hire again if I ever need that type of work done.

I had an exterior basement door that dragged when opening and closing. The hinges were not fitting properly and the door frame had shifted, probably due to the age of the house. The screwswould not go far enough into the wall without hitting stone...even using a special drill bit. Dan worked a long time drilling and sanding to shore up the door as best as possible. I know it will never be perfect. He could have easily sold me a new door and the same issue would happen. He was honest, thorough, and did an excellent job without charging me a fortune. I'm satisfied with the door now. If you want an honest, experienced man, Then Dan is the man

I purchased the Cowdroy P697 Pocket door lock with key over the internet. I emailed questions before my purchase and was provided with the answers quickly by return email. The purchase was quick and easy and the lock was shipped immediatly. Installation is quick and easy. But you do need to convert millimeters to inches (use the internet) in the installation instructions. And the lock looks great and works great. I will do business with them again. THANK YOU
